Interested in emergency communications and amateur radio? There are many ways to get involved with WICEN WA!

Join the Net

WICEN-WA holds a net every week starting at 20:00 hours local. The net runs concurrently on 80m and the VHF/UHF linked repeater network.

Frequency

3.600 Mhz LSB +- QRM

Our net is also available ont he WA Allstar linked repeater network. You can access the net on one of the many repeaters and directly by connecting to the allstar network. Below are a few of the options available.

Becoming a Member

WICEN WA welcomes amateur radio operators and others interested in emergency communications.

We have 2 levels of membership.

Financial Member

Membership of WICEN WA costs $25 and entitles you to vote on club business and participate in the comittee.

Associate Member

Associate members of WICEN WA are operators who would like to participate in WICEN activies and are willing to undertake necessary training.

Requirements

  • Interest in emergency communications and amateur radio
  • Amateur radio license (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to volunteer service
  • Attendance at training sessions
